Transforming a 350,000-Square-Foot Warehouse into an Event Venue for Hilti’s Grand Opening Block Party

Sound Ideas partnered with Hilti to deliver a block party and grand opening celebration for their new 350,000-square-foot logistics center in Lewisville, Texas. Hosting 800 guests, including managers and the CEO, this event showcased Hilti’s state-of-the-art warehouse with tours, trivia, food trucks, and a celebratory atmosphere. With less than a month to prepare, Sound Ideas transformed the warehouse into a dynamic event venue, overcoming unique challenges such as power availability to ensure a seamless experience.

1. Custom Scenic and Stage Design

Installed a 40-foot stage for presentations, speeches, and entertainment.
Provided two flown 26-foot projector screens for clear visuals during key moments.

2. Lighting and Sound Solutions

Designed and implemented a custom lighting package, including uplighting for all bays and featured lighting throughout the warehouse, creating a vibrant event atmosphere.
